Sautéed Spinach

The easiest vegetable to cook and pairs well with almost every dish. If you're looking for a nutrient dense side to go with your meal, this is the one for you. Although it shrinks to 1/8 of its size when you cook it so make sure to buy enough!


Ingredients:

~ 2-3 servings

  • 16 oz baby spinach

  • 4 garlic cloves minced or sliced

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Garlic Powder


Instructions:

  1. Heat up olive oil in a pan over medium low heat.

  2. Add the garlic and sauté for about 2-3 min (make sure to not burn it).

  3. Add your spinach in batches. I start with two handfuls.

  4. Lower the heat to low and put the lid on the pan to steam it for a few minutes.

  5. Once it is wilted add some salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.

  6. Repeat steps 3-5 until all of the spinach is cooked.

  7. & that's it! Serve with your favorite dish and enjoy <3
