One of my favorite meals to make almost always includes a steak. Whether it's Skirt Steak, Filet Mignon, London Broil, T-Bone, or really any cut of beef - I always use this same marinade each time.
Ingredients:
2 lb Steak of your liking (see notes for ideas)
1 tbsp Oil of your choice (I use olive oil)
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tsp Worcesthire Sauce
1 Lime or small Lemon (I normally use lime)
1/2 tsp of Salt or to taste
1/4 tsp of Pepper or to taste
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Instructions:
Place your steak in a deep dish pan, bowl, tray, or ziploc baggy.
Press a fork or knife into the steak to form little holes on both sides.
You can either:
add the wet then the dry ingredients to the pan and make sure to flip the steak then massage in the juices and seasonings.
or
add all of the ingredients (minus the steak) to a separate bowl, mix/whisk them together then massage into the steak.
Marinade for at least 20 minutes or for best/most tender results marinade up to a day before cooking.

Tips:
Seasoning your food is different for everyone. Some may like more salt, some may like less. If you're a "seasoned" cook I suggest doing the salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste or just follow the measurements and add more once you are eating the steak if needed.
I've used this marinade on a majority of the steaks I cook. My favorite/most affordable is london broil. This also works so well on filet mignon, skirt steak, t-bone, and quite honestly any steak!
Add some butter to your pan if cooking indoors! (Garlic Herb Butter Recipe coming soon).
Pair the steak with my Chimichurri Sauce
Don't have a grill to cook your steak? When using london broil, I sear it 1-2 minutes per side in a pan or preferably a cast iron skillet on your stove then place in the oven at 450F for 6 minutes then flip it and cook an additional 5 minutes for a medium-rare steak. Remove from the oven and let sit for 8 minutes on a cutting board (Keep in mind different cuts of steak and thickness have different cooking times).
Not joking about the longer the more tender! Especially for tough steaks like london broil or skirt steak.
If using london broil, make sure to cut with a sharp knife VERY thin.
Ideas for Sides:
French Fries seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. (Add truffle seasoning or truffle salt or truffle oil and parmigiana cheese for some extra fun)
Roasted Fingerling Potatoes with Hot Cherry Peppers (recipe video on My Instagram or My TikTok)
Green Bean & Radish Salad
Mashed Potatoes
Add it to your favorite pasta dish! (Penne Vodka, Mac n Cheese, Alfredo, Pesto, etc)
Add to your favorite salad combination!
